This policy explains how GENAI NOVUSCODE SOFTTECH PVT LTD ("we", "us"), the operator of Novus Service, collects, uses and protects personal data when you use the Novus Service mobile application and the website https://www.novusservice.com.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, username, email address, phone number and role, provided by you or your employer.
• Profile photo: if you choose to upload one, using your camera or photo library.
• Business data: customers, leads, quotations, inventory, service jobs and tasks entered by your organisation.
• Location data: for field staff who grant permission, foreground and, separately, background location used for field tracking and site check-ins.
• Device and usage data: device identifiers and diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the app.
• Website enquiries: the details you submit through our contact, demo or partner forms.

2. How we use data

• To create and manage accounts and provide the app's features.
• To show managers the location and visit status of field staff who have granted permission.
• To send account, task and service notifications.
• To respond to enquiries and demo requests.
• To diagnose problems, keep the service secure and meet legal obligations.

3. Location data

Location is collected only after the user grants permission on their device. Background location requires a separate permission and is used so field tracking works while the app is not on screen. Users can withdraw either permission at any time in their device settings. Location data is not used for advertising and is not sold.

4. Your organisation's role

When your employer uses Novus Service, your employer decides what business data is stored and who can see it. We process that data on their behalf. Contact your employer's administrator for questions about data they control.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the service (such as hosting and email delivery) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

6. Storage and security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including role-based access, to protect data. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

7. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as the account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email hello@novusservice.com.

9. Children

Novus Service is a business application and is not intended for children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, where appropriate, notify users in the app or by email.
